  • Third and Fourth Carbon Footprint – Peru

    This recognition was awarded for achieving the goal of reducing carbon emissions during the mining process by implementing best practices to optimize hauling operations—thereby lowering fuel consumption and directly reducing CO2-equivalent emissions.

  • Blue Certificate

    This recognition, awarded by the National Water Authority, was obtained by demonstrating a reduction in water consumption at camps and offices through the use of flow reducers; this made it possible to optimize water usage without compromising the users' quality of life.

  • Concytec Award

    This recognition from Concytec was awarded for conducting studies to identify mine closure alternatives; the findings demonstrated that the use of technosols facilitates the utilization of industrial waste and the creation of artificial soils designed to enhance the functionality and stability of closure covers, thereby directly impacting resource optimization, reducing operating costs, and improving environmental performance.

  • Mining Safety Institute

    La Arena secured second place in the 10th International Competition for Best Occupational Health and Safety Practices in the Mining Industry for its improvement project, "Optimization of the robotic drill bit sharpening system." This project generated a direct positive impact on safety, occupational health, the environment, and productivity by eliminating exposure to vibration and uncontrolled energy release, and by reducing noise levels from 96.4 dB to 83.1 dB. Additionally, process water consumption was reduced by 79%, drilling speed increased by 9%, and the service life of the drill bits was extended by 15%.
